After winning all the awards in 2006 for ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, the trio of Shankar Ehsan and Loy followed up with the music for ‘Karan Johar's’ ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ this year. ‘Don’ was another test they passed with flying colours. But the general impression about this soundtrack was that the original ‘Main Hoon Don’, ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ and ‘Mourya Re’ were far more effective than the remixes of ‘Ye Mera Dil’ and ‘Khaike Paan Banaraswala’.

Now the year 2007 is expected to be a bigger year for Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy with Nikhil Advani's ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ all set for its musical release today.
